I'm 20 a year old male. I have been dealing with genetic hairloss for 2 years (diffuse thinning). Saw 3 doctors about it and every one of them prescribed me minoxil %5. I asked them about finasteride but they said it is dangerous and they said only suggest means to their patients. I saw excellent results with minox + finas on net. I have been using mango for 3 months and results are good but I know it is not a solution for hairloss, just temporary regrowth. So I wanted to add finasteride too but side effects are really scaring me. Some people say even these effects are irreversible. What do you think about finasteride (propecia)? Should I use it or should I use only means? By the way I want to keep my hair at least to my 40s but it seems impossible with just minoxidil. I am looking forward for your opinions. Thank you.

Adding finasteride is not dangerous and also the side effects are not irreversible better consult a plastic surgeon or dermatologist before starting treatment on your own.
