One of my relatives was prescribed to use novex 30 mg ormeloxifene hydrochloride tablets for her treatment for tissue formation in the breast. However currently that medicine is not available in my locality. Instead, sevista 30 mg tablets are available. Can it be used as an substitute to novex 30 mg tablets in the context of this specific treatment of breast cancer?

Better change any medicine with approval of the doctor who prescribed it. Otherwise same content medicine can be used.

Yes, it can be substituted. It is not breast cancer that you are taking treatment for.
