My son is 10 months old he is having coughing problem last 20 days without any cold n fever. I consulted my pediatrician he suggested montair syrup n levolin but only very less improvement still having coughing. Kindly suggest weather I shall continue this medication or any change. please suggest.

Continue montair lc & levolin also give 3 % ns 3 ml nebulisation 3 time daily for 3 days give syrup azee (100 mg/5 ml) 2 ml twice for 5 days.

Most likely this is a viral cough. We also need to know whether there is any difficulty breathing and whether he is able to feed and sleep. If so, be reasured the cough will go away by another week or so and unless it is interfering with feeding or sleepinng you should not be distressed,
