I am suffering from tinnitus, Dr. has suggested me to take defcort 30 mg twice a day. Is it safe to take?

Dear lybrate-user, defcort 30 would be suitable in nerve deafness or vertigo. If you have just tinnitus I would suggest tab stemetil md to be taken twice daily for 10 days. The tab is to be put under the toungue till it dissolves and then swallowed.

No it is not safe especially with diabetes and hypertension it can be of help in sudden snhl however needs to be taken very cautiously kindly contact a good ent centre and get proper work up done especially pta and tympanometry.
