Greetings sir. Would like to know that I had tonsillitis last month & I took cepodem for 10 days zerodol, vizylac. It was cured in a week but after that I feel minor itching in the throat and at the end of nostrils inside, due to which feels nostrils dry and when it gets the familiar environment again infection rises. Like throat pain itching dryness. Is it safe to have ebast 10 mg for 4-5 days. Kindly suggest.

Yes, you can take for 4-5 days, if you are not diabetic or hypertensive ,you can start tablet deflazacort 6 mg twice a day for 5 days, capsule raffron l before breakfast daily.

Itching in the throat and nose is on account of an allergy. Ebast - m one tablet per day for 7 to 10 days should help.

Dear lybrate-user, at your age one does not have acute tonsillitis. You must be talking of some other throat infection. Further you have to be clear ,is the pain more or the itching. Accordingly a diagnosis can be arrived at.
