Hello doctors. I have pain above belly button in umbilical region last 3 months. Gas.constipation also. My hba1c is also on borderline. My amylase value is 132. Normal value is less than 90. Empty stomach sever pain. Is it show pancreatitis? My age is 27.

In pancreatitis there is severe pain in left upper abdomen or above umbilicus. This pain may referred to back, relief in bending forward. There should be causative factor like gall stone, alcohol, hyperlipidemia. Amylase is not specific may rise in several condition. And this value 132 is not significant. Pain upper abdomen above umbilicus is mostly due to peptic ulcer. First of all you should be cautious about diet to treat constipation. Take plain diet, salad. Use hot milk in night. Take laxative for excessive gas you can take tab pantopdsr 1 tab empty stomach daily. If you have any query, you can consult privately.
