My wife is 8 weeks pregnant and she got detected with thyroid and her tsh levels are 8.02. She is taking thyronorm 50 mg tablet along with fol 123 capsule. Is there any risk to baby since she started taking thyroid medicine from 8 week of pregnancy, will it effect baby's growth. Is it good to take thyronorm 50 mcg and fol123 tablet daily.

Its safe. Please continue medicines. Thyronorm prevents fetal mental disorders which rarely occurs because of hypothroidism and fol 123 prevents fetus from other anomalues.
