Hello sir sabse phale mere chote bhai ko chikan pox huaa uski age 25 year hai who 10 se 12 din me tik ho gaya uske baad muse ho gaya (mere chote bhai ke chikan pox hone ke 16 se 17 din muse huaa) mere wife mere saath hi rahte hai kya usko bhi ho sakta hai kya please ise rokne ke liye koi suggestions bataye.

Hi Lybrate user. Chicken pox is very contagious disease. It's secondary attack rate is 85 %. So there is high possibility of get infection in family members. Patient should be kept in isolation atleast for 5 days after appearence of crust. The person who cares the patient should wear a mask. All cloths / towels should be separate. Thank you.
