My daughter developed some pinkish circular spots which were grainy and after some days gets discolored. I consulted an doctor and he prescribed amorolfine livafin cream to be applied thrice for 4 days. Today while i'm internet I randomly checked about it and found that it is not safe for babies or infants. Please suggest.

Correct. It's not safe. Instead, use liberal amounts of baby moisturiser all over body including face, followed by desonide ointment for local application. That should resolve the problem usually.

You have not mentioned age of the child or location of the lesions. Anyway if you worried about the side effects of what you are using then try this (it's safe in infants) - candid lotion apply it external only twice a day for 3-4 days.

Maximum rashes in children are self limiting and no needs of treatment .only thing you can do that stop the using excessive oil massage and soap. Consult to pediatrician if not improving.
