You can start. But mother breast feed is always best. After 6 month of age ,you should start complementary feed such as cow milk by katoori spoon, mashed boiled potatoes, dalia, and commercial food such as cerelac. You should feed initially 3-4 times a day along with mother's feed and then gradually increase frequency.
