Hi I wanted to know how many days it will take to recognize hcg in urine? My lmp was 47 days ago and I am 19 days late. I had taken dronis 30 to regularise period for 3 months since I am ttc. During this lockdown, I have got more time for myself wherein I worked out daily and also mediation. It was really good time for me but I have not got my periods and my upt is clear negative on 2nd and 14th days gets after delayed period. Please help.

Hi lybrate-user. I understand your problem. Don't worry. I think your not pregnant according to your history, because even on 14th day of missed period your urine test is negative. Usually urine test will be positive within one week of missed period. But to confirm please get serum beta hcg test (blood test) to confirm your pregnancy. Let me know when did you take your last dronis 30 course?

Hcg in urine can be detected by pregnancy test kit 14 days post conception ,that is 2-3 days after your missed date. You can do your serum beta hcg levels for confirmation of pregnancy.
