Hi doctor, my father has undergone a valve replacement operation last year and taking acitrom, where it's mg gets differed based on the inr test. Past few days he's getting severe headache and red spots in his thigh's. Why does this happen, he's is now 59 years old.

The red spots maybe a sign of subcut bleed. His inr may be above the required range. Its better to get a fresh inr and a ct head done to rule out any intracranial bleed. It would be better for you to consult a doctor in person or atleast on phone.
