Hello, liver cirrhosis may be due to various reasons, viruses being just one of them. Routine monitoring of liver functions and pt, inr is required. If there is excessive sleep, few tests would be needed- serum ammonia levels lft abg (arterial blood gas analysis) rbs monitoring of blood pressure and oxygen saturation needs to be done. He also might need a ct scan of brain. Kindly review with reports or go to your hospital for further evaluation and management.
