My wife has been diagnosed pcos problem and prescribed yamini tablet to continue for 3 cycles. We don't have any children yet. So looking for my wife's condition when can we plan for a child? please help me.

Yamini is for cycle regulation n little down regulation of pcos. She won't conceive during these 3 months. After 3 months you can start planning.

Hi. Your wife is having pcos and want to conceive for that she have to take drugs for induction of ovulation while taking yamini she will get pds regularaly but will not conceive can chat or consult with reports if any with me on lybrate.

Best treament in your case will be to switch over to ovulation induction with follicular monitoring and timed Intercourse as you are looking for fertility instead of yasmin

You can plan pregnancy once three cycles of yamini are over. In pcos, taking such course will help ovulation and pregnancy.

Hi lybrate-user. I can understand. Pcod is very difficult to be treated. There is no particular treatment for it. Still research is going on. But there are few combination drugs like hormonal and non hormonal treatment shows few symptoms improved. - life style modification is very important. Eating healthy (low fat, oily food and avoiding fast food etc) and doing exercise for 1-2 hours everyday. I want to few more details to make a diagnosis. If she is overweight, she has to reduce her weight .to have regular periods and to improve pcos. And important thing is if is taking yamini for regularising her period or to treat pcos, during this period she cannot conceive. If she wants infertility treatment to get pregnancy, treatment will be different. So let me know, how many years back were you married, does she have thyroid problem. If never done these tests, please follow up with them -serum tsh -cbp -usg pelvis scan - husband- semen analysis.
