I underwent an abortion 2 weeks ago ,after going for an ultrasound scan, I was told not all the tissue was expelled about 15-29 cm of it was left I was then given an oxytocin injection after a few days I took norethisterone to stop the bleeding and now im having cramps.

Hi, Lybrate user, you have some products of conception left in your uterus after abortion. You need to get a d and c done by suction and evacuation done. Consult a gynaec for the same.

Good evening.. if the tissue is not expelled completely and u took injection and tab noregestrone then u should get a repeat scan to see if the tissue is expelled out completely or not .. otherwise bleeding will not stop . So please get a scan first .
