Stroke can be of two types-hemorrhagic (bleeding in brain, or ischemic. Treatment differs in two. So first of all, ct brain result or film is needed to give an opinion. Our right half of brain controls left side of body and vice versa. Weakness of upper and lower limbs of one side is the feature of stroke. Similar weakness can be there in muscles controlling swallowing. If patient cannot drink without coughing, better to feed through a nasogastric tube. Bed sores are common complication of stroke which needs air or water bed and frequent change in position. You can upload ct films to my profile so that I can opine about medicines.
