Dear doctor, my sister has diagnosed with grade a gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease) with a mucosal break of 5 mm at the lower end of esophagus). But she don't have any heart burn or sense of acid reflux. She is confused it might be yeast infection or bacterial from vaginal fluid with out proper hygiene. How can be differentiate from endoscopy test only. They just said rut negative. Doctor prescribed pantocid 80 and bifilac. Is gerd curable. If any of the doctors have experienced in kindly inform can consult.
