Helo doctor. I am 5 months pregnant. This is 2nd pregnancy. I have bp. 1st pregnancy also had bp. Now it's 140/90. Doc prescribed labetol 100 mg tablet thrice a day along with lycogold tablet once a day and ecosprin tablet. Is this tablet and all safe for baby? somewhat scared to have so many tablets this time. Suggestion pls.

Better tablet will be methyl dopa. It’s the best tablet for bp control at this gestation. Labetalol at early gestation is associated with small babies.
