Hi doc, if I drank an ovral 28 tablet only twice instead of drinking as instructed will it cause withdrawal bleeding to occur.

If you left your medicine inbetween yes it can cause withdrawal bleed.

Unlikely. If you stop ovral tablet abruptly before completing full pack, then you would get withdrawal.

Hello lybrate-user. Using two tablets a day instead of one results in taking higher doses than recommended in a day. If you are already using the tablet, make sure you complete the pack to get withdrawal bleeding.

Please don’t take contraceptive pills acc to your wish as this can cause accidental pregnancy and unscheduled bleeding. Please get pregnancy test if you miss periods also take detailed consultation as to how you should eat the tablet.
