I'm 34 years women im having lil swelling on my ankles and im urinating alot with lil pain on left side of my stomach sometimes so must I use citralka? I have used this syrup previously also n for how many days must I use.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Your complaint does look like there is probably urinary tract infection. So there is a need to get the urine tested to check if it is so. Only taking alkaliser is unlikely to give desired relief. Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user, from your description it is possible that you have urinary infection I hope you do not have fever or pain over the kidney region (below the rib cage in front and to one side in the back. If you have those symptoms and also fever you may be having pyelonephritis and need to do a urine culture and take antibiotics as needed. If you only have increased urination and burning sensation it maay be only aurinary bladder problem and you can take citralka 2 teaspoons thrice daily for 1 week and drink plenty of water. The swelling of the nakle may be a different problem and will need a proper evaluation
