I am 25 and unmarried and suffering form pcod last year. Last 2-4 months suffering from severe pain on my periods. So I consult a doctor and she told me that I am suffering from endometriosis and there is mild fullness in my right kidney and there is a chances to kidney damage .she suggests me to three month course of novelon tab otherwise surgery is last option .i want to know that there is any complications to use this medicine and is it safe and how I cured endometriosis?

You can use tab novelon ft or 3 cycles .repeat ultrasound on 2nd day of cycle after completing 3 cycle course of novelon. If there is improvement then fine ,if not then go for laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis.

What is your ultrasound report, you can take newer medications for endometriosis i.e dienogest 2 mg for 84 days noveleon is old drug for this but safe.

Nobody can make a diagnosis of renal disease without doing extensive renal investigations like gfr, blood urea, ser. Creatinine, uric acid, ser. Proteins and ultrasound pelvis .you may also need ct scan to make a fool proof diagnosis. If you have any doubt, please meet a urologist for further evaluation.
