Hello dear, pcos- is a complex of many symptoms including- irregular menses, facial hair, weight gain, hair fall etc. It is due to hormonal disturbances. Taking hormonal pills cannot resolve this & they have their own side effects. Homoeopathy medicines have best solution for this. It corrects your natural hormonal imbalance & regulates it. Hello lybrate-user. You have mentioned that you were diagnosed with pcos and your prolactin is high. - prolactin of 76.9 is high and medication is required. You haven't mentioned whether you are on any medication for that or not. -regarding meperate, it only helps in getting menses but doesn't help to decrease pco problem. It doesn't affect future pregnancy. - mainstay treatment for pco is lifestyle management as in changing your diet and exercise. - regarding diet:- alter a few food habits like include complex carbs in your diet (rolled oats, green leafy veggies, fresh fruits, multigrain bread etc) and try to avoid simple carbs (maida, outside food, junk food, white sugar, white bread, white rice etc). Include healthy fats (nuts, ghee, coconut oil, eggs) instead of refined oils and outside oils. Include more protein in your diet (gm of protein per day equal to your body weight). - prefer baked, boiled foods to deep fried food - regarding exercise, you are already doing a good job. Hope this helps. You can consult me online for any future doubts and queries.
