How to get vitamin d3 from sun while using tretinoin 0.05 daily on face and neck without getting sun damage? Is it fine if I be in sun for 10-20 min without sunscreen?

If you are using tretinoin 0.05 percent cream daily at night den you do not need to use sunscreen. But as you know tretinoin is a photosensitive compound, so if you use tretinoin during daytime den you must have to use sunscreen before applying tretinoin. Now on prolong exposure to sun you wil get vit d3 but it (sunrays) wil cause photodamage of the skin. On the other hand if you use sunscreen for long time you wil hav vit d3 deficiency.in that case nothing to worry and just continue sunscreen along with oral calcium supplements (calcimax/ hikal z/) 1 cap daily for 1 month (+-).thanks.

You don't have to worry about vit d3. Just by going out normally with sunscreen on also will get you sufficient amount of sunlight for vit d.
