Is is ok to add 1 scoop -nan pro stage 2 with 2 spoon of lactogen stage 2 in 90 ml water? As I know nan is more like breast milk and rich of proteins compare to lactogen. My baby don't like nan pro's taste or some time he has loose motions too. I have tried this mixture 3-4 times on baby, he had drunken it very well with no side effect. Baby is 8 month old. Shall I continue this or not? Please suggest.

No artificial milk is even close to breast milk. Not even remotely. At this stage, you should give complementary food like daliya, khichdi with vegetables, suzi etc. You can even try cerelac/nestum if you lack time to make baby food. Continue breast feeding upto atleast 2 yrs. If your milk secretion decrease, don't try to replace it with formula feed like nan/lactogen etc.

Yes you can continue.

You can continue with either of the formula feeds. But I would advise you to shift to complimentary feeding with 3meal and 2 snacks balance diet. 3 meals should be in the semisolid form. Mixed foods including cooked cereal, pulse and vegetables can be given. In most families there is a cereal preparation in the form of roti or rice and a pulse or a vegetable preparation. For preparing a complementary food for the infant from the foods cooked for the family, a small amount of dal or vegetable preparation should be separated before adding spices to it. Pieces of chapatti could be soaked in half a katori of dal and some vegetable, if available. The mixed food could be mashed well and fed to the baby after adding a little oil. If necessary the mixture could be passed through a sieve to get a semi-solid paste. Thus, rice or wheat preparation could be mixed with pulse and/or vegetable to make a nutritious complementary food for the infant.
