Diprovate lotion contains steroid which usually relieve itching initially. But if itching due to fungal (ringworm infection) it will worsen the infection and treatment will be extremely difficult. In your case, you may have tinea infection. So you should consult to proper dermatologist.

If itching and rashes is due to fungal infection den diprovate lotion wil worsen the situation if used for more den 2 wks.
