Yes you can take it. It usually doesn't give you any obvious side effects. You can include more of methi seeds, garlic etc in your diet which also help in increasing bm production.(these also form the contents of cap lactare)

Hello lybrate-user. Yes, you can take lactare tablet. It has no side effects. And for improving breast milk:-take 4-5 litres of water daily. -feed frequently and feed the baby on demand. Never skip night feeds. -do not let the breasts heavy. If breasts feel hard and the baby isn't feeding, express the excess milk. -take good nutritious diet which boost milk supply like oats, brown rice, bread, methi leaves and seeds, green leafy vegetables. -you can additionally take galact granules twice daily with milk to increase milk supply.
