I am diagnosed with having schizophrenia since 20 years. I am on amisulpride and clozapine to counter it with good relief. Having hallucinations, delusions, social and emotional withdrawal and thought disturbances are some of the symptoms of this illness. I am having only thought disturbances in plenty. Am I really have schizophrenia? Please confirm. I am also having depression and anxiety for which I am on venlafaxine with good relief. My question is: is the above mentioned symptom a depression and anxiety or schizophrenia? This is because the symptoms like having day long dullness and thought disturbances are there in abundance. I am confused. Please confirm.

If you have hallucinations, delusions, social and emotional withdrawal and thought disturbances, you should have schizophrenia. Anxiety and depression are part of schizophrenia. Your psychiatrists' diagnosis is final and let his treat you and please work with your psychiatrist for a cure.
