I have been taking antidepressant and sleeping pills,Melzep.0.5 mg and Trapex 2 daily since last over 14 years by prscription of an army psychiatrist.I have no side effect as long as I keep on taking it,else I get symptoms backI had beeps heart surgery in 2003 and am 72+ YEARS.

Continue with the same , as long as you do not need more dose, You can consult your own Psychiatrist if necessary to taper to half the dose if you are drowsy to Prevent falls and fracture in future,due to drowsiness.

Neither Melzap nor trapex is a antidepressant, they are primarily sleeping and anxiety reducing medications. If you are still experiencing any symptoms of depression you need to see a Psychiatrist and discuss options.
