No, it is wrong to understand that you can not have babies while being on these medicines. There is difference between need and addiction. If someone has diabetes and he/ she has to take medicine lifelong, would that mean they are addicted, no it will not. If you are taking these medicines under observation of qualified psychiatrist, please visit him/ her regularly. They will assess your mental health and requirements for these medicines or if needed alternative medicines. You can always have planned pregnancy with your psychiatrist been informed about everything with monitoring of baby throughout pregnancy. So don't worry.

Dear lybrate-user, please let me know in detail about each attack. Let someone who has seen you during these attacks, describe to me or ask her/him to videotape and send. Please send your old eeg and brain scan reports. If possible get a new eeg. Don't stop zeptol suddenly. With the drug if you become pregnant, the child may or may not be at risk. But we should know whether without zeptol, you, your child and even marriage may be at risk.
