My wife had c section delivery almost 10 months ago. During pregnancy her naval was swollen. She has undergone lucs and her naval has not subsided. By usg we came to know she has umbilical hernia. It is her first pregnancy and she is now 65 kg, height 5' 1" during pregnancy her highest weight gain was 74 kg. After c section delivery she had to take care of the baby who was around 3 kg. My question is can taking care of the baby after c section surgery lead to umbilical hernia or it happened during pregnancy which did not subside? She did not take other heavyweight things other than the baby.
