Sorry sir, it was for the first time that I saw a red water in the toilet bowl .but when I rubbed my butt with the toilet paper it was very normal. A day before this I ate an entire dragon fruit and a bowl of pomegranate. Can that be the reason for it.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Consumption of dragon fruit (pitaya) or blackberries may also cause red or black discoloration of the stool and sometimes the urine (pseudohematuria). This too, is a differential sign that is sometimes mistaken for hematochezia. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
