Black stools can be because of many reasons. 1.Iron supplements 2.Dark-colored foods --sometimes dark-colored foods turn your poop black. These include: chocolate sandwich cookies, blueberries, grape juice, beets, spinach etc. The dark color should go away once you stop eating the food that caused it. 3.Bleeding ulcer- a bleeding ulcer is the most common cause of dark stools. An ulcer is a sore on the inside of your stomach or small intestine. Sometimes these sores bleed. This can make your poop dark. 4.Esophageal and gastric cancers 5.Esophageal varices you can do stool exam from some lab to confirm in the meanwhile follow this 1. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food.
