Hello doctor, I am a 25 years old unmarried girl. I have pcod and hypothyroidism. I have frequent and prolonged bleeding issues. Doctor prescribed me regestrone 5 mg for 20 days and electroxin 50 mcg. After taking regestrone for 10 days, I have got my period. Would I stop taking regestrone tablets considering it as a normal period, because doctor told me only after stopping this tablet I would got my period. But I have been taking this tablet in a regular basis and in time, haven't missed a single dose. Need a help. Thank you.

You are supposed to take cyclical hormone for minimum 3 cycles starting from the 5th day of the period. Then your period will become regularised.
