My wife had uterus prolapse earlier and she was advised pelvic exercises. She was advised to follow up every three months which could not be adhered in the pandemic circumstances. Few months back she was experiencing pain in hips area and urinary bladder was coming in vagina. The issue is while sleeping or sitting the bladder comes back to its position and when she starts walking the bladder slides down. When we consulted the a senior doctor who said since the bladder has slid significantly surgery is the option. My wife age is 52 years her periods have stopped two years back. Vaginal histrocomy anterior and posterior is proposed. As the crystolele is at 3 stage all others will be only temporary and the surgery is the option although ultrasound report is normal. Procedure above I understand is removal of uterus through vagina, keep bladder in its original place and repair any damage in pelvic parts. Any such cases?
