My father who is aged 56 having cirrhosis of liver. We got to know the same last year in june. We are dissatisfied with the allopathy. He is taking dytor plus 10 and inderal 20. But no improvement. He often becomes unconscious and senseless. Please suggest.

Hi lybrate-user. If he is having these symptoms then he most likely needs liver transplant. Dytor is a diuretic to remove excess water that gets accumulated in liver disease. It is not the cure.

If disease is not progressed that much. Homoeopathy can help. It can slow the progression of disease and help to cope up with other symptoms. You can't rely on any treatment in this state. The only cure is liver transplant.
