Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Following are my observations: 1) Looking at your weight and height, your ideal body weight should be about 55 to 56 kgs considering your age. Therefore with a Body Mass Index(BMI) of 26.89 kgs/Sq meter, you are already in over weight category. This is a major hindrance in blood glucose control. You will have to work towards reducing at least about 8 to 10 kgs. 2) In a well controlled diabetes patient FBG should be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP should be 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% (not mentioned) should be <6.5%. 3) People with treatment for blood glucose reduction may feel uneasy if blood glucose goes low(<70 mg/100 ml). However, at 168 mg or even if it is 100 mg, no "Hypoglycemic" or low sugar related symptoms are felt. Those symptoms are feeling weak, sweating on the face, blurring of vision, clouding of thinking, dizzy feeling etc. But these happen only when blood glucose goes < 60 mg/ 100 ml. 3)Please check your HbA1c%, which gives a better idea about long term control of glucose. 4) There is a need to look at your diet, daily exercise routine as these two aspects play most important role in controlling the blood glucose. 5)Since there is no mention of your lipid levels (TGL, LDL & Cholesterol HDL etc), there is no way to comment why you have been asked to take Ailsip tablets. Similarly there is no mention of your blood pressure so no idea why Repace is prescribed. Tablet Dynaglipt-M also helps in glucose control. If you have any further questions please come back preferably in a private conversation (paid consultation) then I will be able to advise more specifically . Thanks.
