I am 29 years old male. I am suffering from anal fissure for the last one year. I consulted a surgeon july last year and he prescribed me to take laxit plus syrup daily at night. Without taking that medicine i'm having hard stools which is preventing healing of the fissure. Now I am consulting a homeopathy doctor for the past 3 months and taking her medicines. My pain improved a bit but I cannot stop taking laxit plus to soften my stool. Can I continue taking laxit plus everyday at night along with my homeopathy medicines?

Laxit plus syrup should be taken only for few days not for prolonged duration. Passing hard stools that is constipation will lead to fissure formation. Change in diet is must to soften the stool like drinking plenty of water 3-4l per day, high fiber diet, physical activity in morning. If constipation still persists, some safer laxatives are there which can be used for long duration with gastroenterologist prescription. You should check your thyroid status as you are having chronic constipation.
