I took an emergency contraceptive pill about 2 weeks ago and had heavy bleeding after 8 days (the date of my 2nd period). While it could also be withdrawal bleeding, I'm experiencing very heavy flow and passing clots for 5 days now. Experiencing general tiredness and weakness as well. I'm considering taking tranexamic acid tablets (pause 500). I wanted to know if it's safe to take pause 500, 2 weeks after taking unwanted 72. Just want to make sure there's no unsafe drug interaction.

Kindly investigate for the bleeding complaint by doing a pelvic ultrasound scan and basic blood test and then get the treatment by sorting out the reason for heavy bleeding.
