Good evening. Am suffering from anxiety disorders. Am taking nexitoforte 20 mg daily. I also had stammering problem. I read in a journal that risperidone is beneficial for stammering. Is it true? At which dose can I take it with nexito? My age is 35. Kindly answer.

Dear lybrate-user, if your stammering is diagnosed as anxiety disorder, risperidone is not necessary. Risperidone is a major tranquilliser having many side effects in the long run. Unless it is needed, you should not take it. Whenever you are quoting a journal, it is a good habit to give the reference. One can not take a sentence out of its context.
