I had a liver ultrasound, the results came back perfect, nothing was wrong. Also, I did an endoscopy, also nothing was wrong. I used to drink a lot last year, but in may, I started getting acid reflux, so I did a blood test in general, and found that my ggt levels are very high at the time they were 155, I stopped drinking, and had half a beer in october only! but my problem is that the enzymes are still high. I take zoloft. My ggt levels have lowered to 71 in january, and now have increased to 85 again.

Drinking is harmful to liver as well as other organs. Your liver is getting damaged and it will show up in ultrasound a little later. Please quit the habit of drinking.

Dear user, the levels will become normal over a period of time. Alcohol should be cut down to once a week and no excess alcohol consumption. Eating more green leafy vegetables and cutting down on oil consumption will definitely help. Good luck.
