Hlo sir I want to know if anyone take alprax 3 mg tablets one time than after they don't take is there any side-effects of this is person have headache after 10 days.

Hi lybrate-user, thank you for the query. Alprazolam is usually available as 0.5 mg tab. The 3 mg could actually be referring to melatonin. Use of alprax would be better if the concerned person gets a psychiatric opinion. It is not a medication for headache. Kindly advice the concerned person to get a psy evaluation regarding the need for alprax. If the problem is insomnia or lack of sleep there are other ways to initiate sleep. It would be best to leave alprax for anxiety attacks rather than being used as a sleeping aid. My genuine opinion would be to get a psychiatrist opinion and based on that take the medications.

Headache after 10 days cannot be related to alprazolam (alprax). The headache is a common symptom and it is not related to alprazolam taken 10 days back. The maximum dose of alprazolam is upto 4 mg / day however in elderly it is 1-2 mg/day.
