Hi I was having really bad constipation. The stool was hard that I had put my finger to remove it. I have injured my anus also. Its hurting. I went to gastro rnterlogist. He prescribed me prucalopride tablet with duphalac syrup. And oxerute cream. After the taking the prucalopride tablet and duphalac. I had severe stomach pain and headache so I stopped the medicine. Is it ok to stop after 1st day?

Those medicines are meant to soften your stool. There will be no adverse effect of stopping the medicines but your constipation will go back to as it was before. Alternative treatment plan may be suggested over an one-to-one consult.
