My 9 and hlf month baby girl having cough from 5 days. Cough with mucus occurs usually in the morning. Rest whole day she is fine and active also. Ascoril ls drops has been given to her. Wheezing sound still there. From yesterday I am observing red spots either on her leg or her hands. What kind of spots should be these? Please suggest.

Hello dear your baby is suffering from viral lower respiratory tract infection. The red spot indicates and in favour of viral illness but sending a picture will be very helpful if child is having wheeze if you are sure then he needs bronchodilator may be in form of nebulization. Please visit your doctor again if possible otherwise you can count respiration (breaths) of baby for one minute if more than 60 you need to visit your doctor for re-evaluation.
