Hi, i'm 28 years old. I suffer from heavy and very painful bleeding during periods, I have been diagnosed with multiple fibroids. Birth control pills also seem to cause heavy and excessive withdrawal bleeding. Have been taking pause-mf for temporary relief. And previous doctors suggested I undergo surgery for fibroids removal. For now, the doctor suggested I take regestrone twice for the last 10 days with loette-21as my bleeding didn't stop with loette as well and go for surgery. After taking regestrone the bleeding stopped and I finished the loette 21 pack. I'm taking regestrone twice a day since then and didn't stop it. So, my question is can I keep taking regestrone twice a day or once a day continuously until I don't find my bleeding bothersome and also are there any long term side effects of the tablet. I got my menses on 13th it's lighter now and is sparse. Should I continue taking regestrone twice a day or change my dosage. Please help.
