Hi, I am using cremaffin plus (laxative) to help my anal fissure for 2.5 weeks now. Is there time limit for me to stop using it before my body gets used to it?

Avoid constipation and hard stools by taking high fibre diet, plenty of fruits n veg; oral fluids and other measures. Use laxative only when reqd. Laxatives when taken on daily basis n frequently can cause dependence.

Hello.
Laxatives are habit forming.
Only laxatives won't treat your anal fissure,  it will just keep ur stools soft. It takes almost 3 to 4 weeks for an anal fissure to heal,  and you can continue your laxatives till then. If your fissure is not healing, Add sits baths and anaheal cream in addition.
I would suggest non habit forming laxatives like isabghulla  husk or softovac granules instead..

Hi, cremaffin plus can be continued, it just make your stools soft, you can slowly decrease amount your taking gradually try to stop it. Sudden stoppage can lead to constipation and fissure again as your with fissure this condition is highly recurrent when ever you have bleed start using cremaffin for few days.
