My mother in law who is 68 years old had face swelling and some itching today morning. She also has pain in throat and and her voice is hoarse. She took livocitrazin after breakfast and lasix 40 mg at 12 :30. Is that fine .if she takes dox 100 after lunch as not able to speak and for throat pain.

Pain in throat and change in voice can be due to a throat infection, are you self medicating with dox 100 mg or does she have any other symptoms. It's alwaz better to consult a doctor. Ask her to take steam inhalation and do betadine gargles three times a day, plain paracetamol for pain will suffice.in case symptoms increase please consult a doctor. Also is the face swelling new?. If she is taking lasix that means there is a comorbidity so please consult before h self medicate.
