I'm suffering from jock itch near groin area. Can you please recommend any soaps to treat it. Can I use dettol to treat the jock itch. I have this itching all over my legs also.

Hii, jock's itch or tinea cruris is a fungal infection in the groin area. No soaps are effective in jock's itch. Use of dettol would irritate the skin further. Oral and topical antifungals along with general measures advised by the dermatologist are best to get rid of the problem completely. You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It is also called jock itch.
