Two years is a long time for pain to persist. Scan is highly advisable to rule out any internal pathology. Also you must be careful. Do not let kids play on your tummy. It can unnecessarily increase the problem.

Most probably it will be a nonabsorbable suture which was used during your cesarian section operation to close the upper layers of your abdomen, if your pain is mild and occassional.
