Hello, I had a cyst of 3 cm in the right ovary and been suffering with severe abdomen pain .my consultant gynaec doc. Suggested me to use triquilar tablet for 21 days (i had been experiencing vomiting and severe stomach pain after starting use of triquilar. As I get to know that was a contraceptive. Do I go through any kind of difficulties in future in the case of getting pregnant or any side effects if I continue this tablet i'm 19 years old.

Hello! There are no long term effects of these pills on becoming pregnant. Do not worry regarding that. The pain i hope has subsided. Or else it needs to be diagnosed as to what the exact problem is. As only if the cyst is twisted or there is bleeding inside cyst will there be so much pain.

Hello lybrate-user I would like to assure you that there will be no implications on your future pregnancy or fertility. Also 3 cm is a very small size, so you don't have to worry. If you have started on triquilar, continue for one cycle and then stop. Get a repeat ultrasound after 3 months to evaluate the size of your cyst. In majority of the cases the cysts resolve on their own.
