I have vertigo since 15 days. I m taking vertigon. How long it can be taken safely.

Common causes of vertigo are-- Head injuries, high blood pressure, diabetes, sone medicines eg aspirin can cause vertigo. Meniere's disease, infections of the inner ear, migraine, are other causes. Commonest being BPPV. Treatment depends on the cause of it. BPPV needs repositioning maneuvers eg epley's maneuver. Antibiotics r required for infections. Get ur self checked by ENT doctor to diagnose the cause. Hope this helps u.
